Updated: new screenshot of how you can customise it differently. 14/11/08.

I normally use Safari because of it's look. It's sleek, minimal and practical.

I normally use Firefox because of it's extensions. They are easy to use, are the best features from other browsers and practical.

I normally use Opera because of it's innovation. It's speed dial is amazing, it's integrated torrent client great and it's practical.

In the end, I opted for Firefox 3. I hate its Mac user-interface, it's ugly in my opinion. So I changed it to the Safari theme [link]

I also love the speed dial feature in Opera (I don't use bookmarks, I use this instead) so I found this lovely extension for it. [link]

I then customised the heck out of the features and got this. I personally love it. I've been using it since Firefox 3 came out. It's rather rad.

The 'fast dial' plugin is alot better than the 'speed dial'. It is more customisable. [link]

Quite definitely so. But Fast Dial is the plugin I'm currently using. :) The link goes to Fast Dial, not Speed Dial.

These FF3 themes say they only work on mac but they work perfectly on Windows. How do I change the background of Firefox, it's probs quite straight forward but I've never seen that setting. I'm working on a new screenshot for September 1st now, hopefully should be a big improvement on my last one.

Well, um, I'm not sure how you do it on Windows, but for me, I just go Tools > Add-ons > Preferences. Then I just change the background image.

Thank you so much Simieski, I'm glad someone else likes these themes and that my sense of aesthetic is still working.

I quite like your desktop screenshot as well, even if it does use the platform despised by us pompous asses from the Mac world.
